Extended-stay home in South St. Louis

Blow

3 bedrooms, 2 king + 1 queen 2 full baths Sleeps 6 Carondelet, 63116
4.614 reviews

A stained glass window, a brick fireplace, and a park at the end of the street: this is the house for the month you want to feel settled.

Blow is built for people who are living here for a while. A crew working a job on the south side, a family waiting out repairs on their own house, someone on an assignment who needs a real desk and a quiet street to come home to. Everyone gets a real bedroom, two full bathrooms mean nobody waits in line in the morning, and the washer and dryer are downstairs instead of across town. The WiFi holds up for a full day of video calls.

It is a historic Carondelet brick home, refinished with new furnishings so it feels fresh without losing its character. Two bedrooms, a full bath, the living room, a second living room with the foosball table, and the kitchen are on the main floor. The third bedroom, a second full bath, and the laundry are in the lower level. Out back, the yard is fully fenced, with patio seating, blackberries along the fence in season, and a gated parking pad for the truck.

  • Pet-friendly, fenced yard
  • Foosball room
  • Two full baths
  • Dedicated desk and fast WiFi
  • Gated parking pad
  • Utilities and internet included

Room by room

Living rooms

Fireplace up front, foosball in back

The front room has the brick fireplace, the stained glass windows, a deep gray sofa, a leather chair, and a smart TV. Through the arch and past the dining room is a second living room with a sectional, a built-in ledge that works as a standing desk, and the foosball table for the evenings nobody wants to go anywhere.

Kitchen and dining

Gas range, three ways to make coffee, a glass table for six

A full kitchen with a gas range, stainless appliances, a dishwasher, and enough counter space to cook a week of dinners. Drip, French press, and Keurig are all here, along with real cookware, a blender, a toaster, and baking sheets. The glass dining table seats six under a pendant light and doubles as a workspace.

Bedrooms and baths

Two kings, one queen, two full baths

The main floor has a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, both with room-darkening shades, a ceiling fan, a dresser, and closet space, plus a full bath with a tub and shower. The lower level has the second king bedroom and a second full bath with a jetted corner tub. Linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer are stocked in every bath.

Outside and downstairs

Fenced yard, gated parking, laundry

The backyard is fully fenced and private, with patio furniture, a grill, and room for the dog to run. Blackberries grow along the back fence in summer. A gated concrete parking pad behind the yard fits a car or a small truck, with free street parking out front for a second vehicle. The washer and dryer are in the lower level, along with extra storage for the length of your stay.

What guests say about Blow

Rated 4.6 across 14 reviews. Every review below is from a real stay at this house.

We needed to book an Airbnb after we were displaced by the St. Louis tornado, and this house was everything we needed (especially because it's pet friendly). It was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials for a long term stay! The host was always quick to respond to any questions we had. We enjoyed (especially our pup, Lucca) being a few minutes walk away from a park. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet.

Beautiful, historic house. We were in town for a work trip. It was an awesome house. We cooked every night and having the grocery store and the Lowe's right there by the house was extremely helpful. We were able to attend a music event at the park which was beautiful weather and super close. It was a nice walk.
Martie, work trip
This place was clean, charming and felt like a home! We had some great family fun playing fuse ball and nice family dinner time and games at the large dining room table! The layout provided enough space for gathering and hanging out with the family but also room for privacy as well!
Desiree, family stay
